Professional Development, Educational Innovation, and Institutional Engagement
Collaboration Scholarship at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED) (2020–2021)
Awarded a Collaboration Scholarship at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED) during the 2020–2021 academic year, linked to the Master’s Degree in Communication and Education in the Network.
Within this role, I actively collaborated in the design, development, and implementation of an educational innovation and research-oriented project aimed at strengthening UNED’s digital identity, social responsibility, and knowledge transfer through social media–based learning environments.
My main responsibilities included:
- Design and implementation of social media–based learning strategies, grounded in constructivist and connectivist pedagogical frameworks, to enhance collaborative learning and student engagement.
- Support for teaching and continuous assessment activities, contributing to the integration of digital, emotional, and media literacy competences within the Master’s programme.
- Development of educational content and learning tasks oriented toward critical thinking, creativity, digital identity management, and ethical participation in digital environments.
- Participation in research and innovation activities, including qualitative and quantitative observation of student interactions and learning outcomes in networked learning contexts.
- Contribution to knowledge transfer and institutional visibility, supporting the dissemination of UNED’s academic and social innovation initiatives through blogs, social networks, and open digital platforms.
This collaboration fostered early professional development in higher education teaching, strengthened institutional engagement, and contributed to the improvement of teaching quality and learning environments, with an indirect but meaningful impact on students through innovative, socially grounded digital pedagogy.
1st Scientific Café (Faculty of Education, UNED, December 10, 2025)
Active and qualified participation as a member of the Organizing Committee of the 1st Scientific Café (Faculty of Education, UNED, December 10, 2025), a strategic academic initiative aimed at promoting research culture, educational innovation, and the transfer of knowledge within the university context.
As part of the organizing committee, the activity was designed as a structured space for academic exchange, fostering:
- The integration of research and teaching innovation, with a clear focus on its application in higher education.
- The development of interdisciplinary academic communities and collaborative networks among faculty members, academic staff, and early-stage researchers.
- The strengthening of institutional commitment to continuous improvement in teaching quality and pedagogical renewal.
This contribution demonstrates sustained institutional engagement, aligned with UNED’s strategic objectives for enhancing university teaching, and shows a meaningful indirect impact on students’ learning environments through the professional development of teaching staff.
